We rounded off this year of meetings in festive fashion with mulled wine and a chat about our latest Theatrical outings. These comprised
cinema screenings of ‘Kiss Me Kate’ (staged in London, starring Adrian Dunbar) and Prima Facie a one-woman tour-de-force performed
by Jodie Comer, following a young attorney on her journey from a compelling & forceful prosecuting barrister to a terrorised & panicked
victim in the witness box. Both greatly enjoyed by those who saw them.

For our seasonal visit we have defied the lure of a pantomime and are going to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Lace Market Theatre and we
already have tickets to see Vamos Theatre Company at Nottingham University Lakeside Theatre, next February. We are not meeting
again until January 14th 2025 New members will be made most welcome, just contact Jae Marriott.
